Overall Meander is the least expensive type quilting and is just as it sounds. Meandering is most useful for utility quilts that will be loved and washed frequently. It tends to blend into your quilt which keeps the piecing as the main focus of attention. This includes the typical puzzle piece, heart, star, leaf look, and provides a simple, effective treatment for your top. The price per square inch depends on the density of the quilting. The most basic overall meander begins at .014¢ per square inch and can go as high as .02¢.

All-Over Pantograph- Type Quilting from .02¢ - .03¢ per square inch
Pantograph – type interlocking patterns go side to side on your quilt and are charged differently depending on the density of the design – some are more complex and dense, using more thread. I don’t use printed pre-designed paper pantographs – I design all of my own depending on what you are looking for and they are entirely free motion. Take a look at the pattern page for some design ideas. Prices begin at .02¢ per square inch and can go as high as .03¢ per square inch.

Custom Quilting from .028¢ per square inch
Custom quilting is any quilting that is designed specifically for your quilt, and varies greatly from quilter to quilter. This includes stitch in the ditch (SID), circles, motifs, border treatments and special requests – lots of quilting! Please ask for photos if you are not sure exactly what type quilting you may be getting. Prices start at .028¢ and go up as high as .04¢ per square inch.
