Choosing a Hosting Provider
Each business is unique and so your hosting should be chosen
accordingly.
If you have a simple HTML website with primarily information
about your business you will probably only need 100 mb of space, and
bandwidth according to how many people you think would be accessing
your site at one time. 1gb is usually sufficient for most small
businesses with up to 50 pages of content.
Most hosting companies offer a tremendous amount of space that
you just don't need. So, rule of thumb.. go with the medium plan
offered by most hosting providers unless you feel your website will
contain hundreds of images, music files, videos and pages. Then
consider the larger package. Bandwidth =

Website Editors with your hosting account
Some people may want to go the extra mile and learn a website
building program so they can edit their own website. Make sure your
hosting provider has the capability of working with that program.
In my opinion, Cpanel hosting is the most comprehensive and
user friendly hosting available today. It not only has its own
website editor but can easily be expanded to meet your growing needs
and changes with modules for php, sql, blogs, forums, shopping cart
technologies, and more all rolled up into one. |
